Octagon Club

Hempstead Octagon Club, the junior division of the Noon Optimist Club: service and volunteer organization open to all Hempstead High School students. Shaping character at Hempstead and in the community!

Meetings:

Held during Wednesday Advisory (1-2 times a month) in Room C122 (J Houselog). Dates are determined monthly.

Frequent Club Events:

· Blankets for Tri-State Dialysis

· Fundraisers for Hempstead Family Christmas partnering with Interact Club

· Fundraisers for PRIDE prizes and breakfast, partnering with PRIDE Committee

· Fundraiser for Octagon Supplies

· Partner with Maria House/Teresa Shelter to provide supplies for children and mothers

· Bake Sale during Hempstead events: Quad Games, Conferences

· Other determined by Octagon Members
