P.R.I.D.E Student Leadership Team

Mustang P.R.I.D.E. Student Leadership Team is the student group connected to Hempstead’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative. Members of this group exemplify what it means to be a Mustang: prepared, responsible, inclusive, dignified, and empowered. In the MPSLT, we work to recognize the academic and extracurricular achievements and PRIDE characteristics embodied in other students and staff members at Hempstead. We also work to strengthen the school community by planning pep assemblies where these achievements are acknowledged and celebrated.
